"Dear Jen and cast and crew of "All Shook Up"

On your closing night, I want to thank you for the great service and gift you have given to this community. Theatre is magic.....it inspires us, renews us, teaches us, entertains us and allows us to escape, for a few shining hours, our burdens and worries.

That is what each of you did for me as I watched your performance and for the thousands of other people fortunate enough to enjoy your production of All Shook Up.

Theatre started centuries ago as an expression of community and although I have enjoyed great theatre around the world (including Broadway) community theatre is still my favorite. It has the most warmth and the sweetest spirit and always touches my heart the deepest.

You have come from all different ages, professionals and levels of experience, yet have managed to lift each other to a level of professionalism where everyone has contributed equally to a magnificent finished product. Combining skilled direction, performance and technical elements to allow us that magical evening at the theatre!

The SCERA Shell has a great legacy and you should all be proud to know that you have carried on that level of excellence set by so many generations before you. NEVER DOUBT that your hours of sacrifice and efforts have been worth it. You have made a difference in our community and in our lives.
